With its wooden base and colorful metal rings, Gyges is the kind of game you can leave out on a coffee table rather than pack back into a box.
The goal of this two-player strategy game is to reach the throne on the opposite side—but neither player has their own pieces. On each turn, you move a piece from the row closest to you, with the number of rings determining how far it can travel. Land on another piece and you can keep moving, creating clever chains across the board. Just be careful where you stop: every piece is shared, so a move that helps you now could give your opponent exactly what they need on their next turn.
Beautiful enough to live out in the open, with enough possibilities to keep pulling you back for another game.
